What is a payment dance?

A payment dance is one shared payment timeline. It can include:

  • The invoice
  • Timesheets or supporting documents
  • Questions and replies
  • Approval steps
  • Notes and updates
  • Payment status

Example. One supplier invoice = one payment dance. A monthly contractor invoice = one payment dance each month.

Suppliers do not pay.

Suppliers, contractors, and partners can view their payment timeline, reply to questions, and upload documents for free.

This keeps the relationship simple: the business pays for clarity and control; the supplier gets better visibility without another subscription.

No transaction fees for workflow.

Paydance does not move money in the MVP. It helps you manage the steps around payment: receiving, checking, asking questions, approving, and marking as paid.
